RARE WATERFALL / PEACEFUL SUMMER PLATE

This is one of my favorites and depicts a stunning waterfall below a castle/ Abbey ruins or mountains. There are some storks or cranes near the base of the waterfall. It is enveloped by lush gardens, trees and flowers which blend out from the scene with scrolled plumes and roses making the border. The cup shows a man seated on a huge boulder casting his fishing line into the river near a waterfall.


Condition: no chips or cracks. There is crazing, commensurate to age.

Saucer is appx 6" Cup is 2.5" tall
