This new Pintail from Behring Made™ is hand forged from 1/8" thick high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp hollow grind and our hammermark finish. The nickel silver guard is soldered in place above black fiber, aluminum and copper spacers with beautiful desert ironwood burl accent. The handle is a walrus tusk that was utilized by ancestral Inuit tribes of Alaska as a fishing net weight that eventually tumbled the ocean floor for who-knows-how-long, with beach pebbles still lodged in the port from it's travels. Very rare, very cool! The overall length measures 8 1/2" and it comes in a classic Warlander Leather pouch sheath as well.
